Answer Question
Spanish: Spain & Latin America - Course Content
I'm a long-time Fluenz French user and love the courses. I've recently decided to brush up on my Spanish and purchased the Spanish (Spain) Fluenz set. I'm considering purchasing the Spanish (Latin America) set as well, and studying them in parallel to understand the pronunciation and grammatical differences. My question is about the course outline used in the Spain versus Latin America versions. Do both courses cover the same content in each lesson? For example, in Lesson 1 of Spain (Spanish) we learned about greetings. Would you get the same greeting lesson in Lesson 1 of Spain (Latin America), just with the pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammatical differences unique to Latin America? I live in Miami area but travel often to Europe, so I could benefit from understanding the nuances between the two. Anyone ever give this a try?
