Hi Michelle, we haven't included the future indicative in the Fluenz 1-5 levels because we considered it was not crucial et this point.
Most of the time, when speaking about your future plans you just use the present indicative, much like in English actually. You'd say things like:
Je pars demain - I'm leaving tomorrow
Il ne travaille pas le week-end prochain - He isn't working next weekend.
Or you can always use the verb Aller + an infinitive verb, like the English structure "to be going to":
Tu vas venir au dîner jeudi? - Are you going to come to the dinner on Thursday?
Ils vont voyager ensemble - They're going to travel together
That's why we preferred to focus on the past conjugations, which are a lot in French and quite important, before introducing the future indicative as such..
