It is possible to use "Jenes Hotel" as "That hotel" to differentiate it from Dieses Hotel" as "This hotel", however "jen-" is a little antiquated and formal, so it's not very used in spoken German anymore, unlike "dies-" which is much more common.
There are also other ways of pointing at things in German, without using the " demonstratives" but using for example the articles "der, die, das", but they could all translate both as This and That..
So my advice for you for now is to keep in mind that the difference between this and that in German is not as crucial as in English. if in a same sentence you can even repeat "dies-" if you need to, as in: "Dieses Hotel oder dieses Hotel?"
