Hi Lisa, Nice if you managed to understand the structure. Tampoco is a bit special, like "nunca" in Spanish, since they allow two possible structures: either on their own just before the verb:
Tampoco funciona = it doesn't work either
Nunca funciona = it never works
Or if you keep the negation just before the verb, they're placed at the end of the sentence:
No funciona tampoco = it doesn't work either
No funciona nunca = it never works
