Could you please let us know in which context (level, session, sentence..) you've come across this expression?
Since it can be used for different reasons I'd need a bit more context to tell you why it is there exactly..
Just a guess, but it might be one of these cases where in spoken Spanish you can use either just "allá" or "de allá" to translate "there".
It's just an expression, sometimes instead of saying just "there", native speakers say "from there" "de allá" to refer to the specific place of an object or a store (things that don't move)..
In any case the program should give both options to translate "there" if it's the case, unless it's an audio, so don't hesitate to send us the details if necessary.
