The next question had the same problem.
I didn't cut/paste it, but it was a sentence that said:
I like soup a lot, but today (I) I don't want to eat there.
My answer was again marked incorrect because I included Yo

Hi Preston,
That's because in the program we decided to leave Me gusta as I like, without parenthesis because this verb is special, it doesn't follow the usual conjugation pattern, so it never uses the subject pronouns I, You, He, She etc, that would be wrong, instead if you need to insist on the subject with this type of verbs you would have to say "A mí me gusta".
But as I said, it's only a way to emphasize it (or to specify if needed), the usual way of saying I like is Me gusta (It pleases me) which is why we chose not to use parenthesis in this case...
