If you see a mistake in the spreadsheet, just make a comment and I'll fix it.

Thanks. It's as much for me as anyone. But I can't help go through all this work and not share it. I explain things for a living, so it's in the blood. It also helps motivate me, as I'm helping other people.
What I'd really like do do is create recordings of it. Both a chapter-by-chapter version and a comprehensive, "all vocab in Spanish 1" version. I would have four recordings for each:
1. English word, pause, Spanish translation
2. Spanish word, pause, English translation
3. English phrase, pause, Spanish translation
4. Spanish phrase, pause, English translation
I like the "Fluenz audio" recordings, but they're not comprehensive. I want a recording I can play while driving around, cleaning house, gardening, etc. that reinforces everything I've already learned.
I may make my own recordings, but I'd prefer if someone helped me find a native speaker that would do it for me.

Guess what!??! I was able to use a text-to-voice service to make pretty decent recordings of all words and phrases from that spreadsheet!
Check this out:

There are six recordings:
Spanish to english words (spanish word is spoken, pause, english word is spoken)
English to spanish words (english word is spoken, pause, spanish word is spoken)
Spanish to english phrases (spanish phrase is spoken, pause, english phrase is spoken)
English to spanish phrases (english phrase is spoken, pause, spanish phrase is spoken)
For the phrases, I have versions w/a 2, 3, and four second pause before the "answer" is given.
This is a first try, but I think I'm on to something here. I can listen to these while driving around to review where I'm already at – especially in between formally doing the lesson. This allows me to review what I've already learned, while I'm doing other things. Very cool, huh?
