I don't have a definitive solution to your problem, but I will say this: I think one new lesson per day is an absolutely torrid pace. It's possible that your brain is just flooded with data. Maybe try slowing down ... do a new lesson one day, then do the same one again the next day so that all the new info sinks in.

Time for a two weeks break! No spanish, no studying, no classes, just relax your brain.
Trust me, it helps!

I had the same problem though not moving at your fast pace nor with your background. I backed off and started doing the flash cards several short times a day. I think it helped. I am rebuilding my confidence.

Trying to pace at one lesson per day could simply be too overwhelming. Perhaps go back, do some review, and try to reinforce what you learned. During the pandemic, and having relocated, I'm having a hard time with that last idea ... years ago when I learned Portuguese it really helped to pace it out, and to have someone to speak with and try it out on occasion.
