I am currently only at the end of level 1, but my impression is that to progress beyond A1 and A2 you are much more on your own than you are at the beginner levels. But there are some B1 level courses on sites like Udemy.
A professor of German (Herr Antrim - to be found on YouTube) recommends a series of books which go under the collective title "Dino lernt Deutsch," which are currently up to volume 11. They contain a story about somebody who is journeying around German speaking European countries, learning German as he goes. The level of German required to read one of the books gradually increases as the series progresses.
There is also no shortage of native German speakers, anxious to teach you German on Youtube. Some of them are pitched at roughly the same level as Fluenz, whilst others are at B1 and B2 level.
FluentU is another site which comes to mind.
