My feeling is that here "möglich" goes at the end to emphasize what comes before: "auch in den USA". It is one of these cases in German (like many) where several orders are possible, so the idea for now is to get used to the "natural" setence order and then try to grasp the nuances little by little.
In GE4 Fluenz dedicates many sessions to the placement of different elements in the German sentence, so keep it up!
About your second doubt, don't sorry too much about it: both ways are ok, the one with "diese" is just a bit more emphatic.
