I went about a month. There were some parts that really gave me some troubles which is why I stopped. I felt like it was too much, too fast. When I returned, I started over from the point where I first began having trouble and it just clicked so much easier.
I also found it better to not rush the lessons. I generally do the lessons and the workouts twice, sometimes more if I don't grasp it at first and I will wait 24 hours between them. It has to be relaxed and enjoyable. The slower you take it, the better you will retain it.
