You make a very good point about the vosotros form. This verb form is generally only used in Spain or in the Bible, and using it anywhere else (Latin America, the Caribbean, and Mexico, for example) will attract some very funny looks (imagine if I were writing to you using pure Shakespearean English). Fluenz doesn’t teach the vosotros form, but recognize once you have mastered the basics of the Spanish language, which is the purpose of the Fluenz Spanish applications, you could use this knowledge to also learn to use the vosotros form if you plan specifically to go to Spain.
We do teach all the other basic forms, including ’ustedes’ which serves the same purpose, but is a little less informal. Using the ustedes form in Spain vs the vosotros form would be equivalent to the difference between "excuse me gentleman" and "excuse me you guys" in English, and we believe it would be better to be more polite than familiar.
