"De Comer" is the phrase in which you use to refer to what you are going to eat. In that particular case, "Quieres algo de comer?" translates as "Do you want something to eat?". It is that same with "De Tomar", which is the expression for "To Drink". "Para comer" refers to what you need in order to complete the act of eating itself. In that case, "Nesecitas algo para comer?" translates as "Do you need something in order to eat?"
