Aleeka,
Thanks for your post! I am inspired! :)
I am a couple lessons from finishing Fluenz French II... I am excited, but, a bit nervous, at the same time. I am really used to Sonia's explainations now so... I am a bit worried that when the new "personal tutor" won't be the same from level III on. Most people said that it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I hope not.
I tried some French out at a party last night. I live in Cancun, which is a very international city. It was only a small party (there were only 13 of, in all, and there were 5 Mexicans folks, 2 French blokes, 2 Aussies, A Spanish gal, a Scottish lass, a guy from South Africa, et moi... an American. One of the Mexicans is my best mate here in Cancun, and he is a chef. He studied in Lyon and even has a Master's in wines... so... his French is p-r-e-t-t-y good. ;) Between him and the French blokes, well... I had my hands full, but... I managed to get some practice in, which was good, and everyone was very encouraging.
How much difference have you found between the first couple of levels with Sonia and levels 3&4?
Thanks for the resources!!
Christopher :)
