I know this is coming a bit late, but it turns out that this wasn't exactly an error... Basically, it's taken from the conversation, and in this case "they" is actually referring to "the clothes." In Spanish, that means "la ropa" -- which is singular. Therefore, the Spanish translation is actually correct.
This surely happens in other places where we are just pulling some of the conversation dialogue lines and the lack of context makes the translation appear to be off.
