can we add one more "test" to the learning?
I love the Fluenz method (I'm currently learning French and Italian at the same time, French for my work and Italian because my wife wants to learn it with me and we love Italy). I love the different ways it reinforces learning through verbal, text, multiple choice, pictures, etc. etc. ...
but when you're using the microphone, I noticed the "hide text" feature,
and it got me wondering:
could we add one more "test" to the learning?
it would be GREAT if the user could just have the conversation questions asked without a prompt, and see if they can answer spontaneously, THEN check to see if their answer was the same as the proper one. You know, just like a real-life situation, but with a chance to see if they answered correctly. This would be a fantastic way to "check" one's progress without just repeating the text read ...
I realize this is part of the microphone section, but it would be so helpful to have a "conversation" review that's accessible SEPARATE from the rest, so the user could just finish the lesson, then access the conversation (without visible answers, again, until the user wants to see them). It would be like a final test, a final "review" of the learning to see if you could function in a real-life conversation this way ...
Has anything like this ever been considered?
