Kateland, unfortunately, it is a pipe dream. The grammar just by itself can represent a major effort if you mean to learn "all" the grammar rules. It is best to focus on the most useful grammar rules and vocabulary and growing them in parallel. Beyond grammar and sentence structure you can even consider idoms - or the combinations of words that don't mean their literal translation. One of the positive aspects for learning a new language is that it is an ongoing process.

Thanks! I definitely assumed that was the answer. I think I was particularly annoyed with conjugating verbs that day! ;)

You'll be less "annoyed" learning verb conjugations with fluenz than any other language learning system. As Sonia sez, fluenz is very "stingy"---verb forms (and everything else) are introduced only when needed for vital structures.

I also think you'll be ready to start adding your own vocabulary some time during Fluenz Italian 2. Your curiosity will drive you to supplement based on your interests: food, architecture, articles of clothing, sports... What I appreciate about Fluenz is that for the most part the rules and structures we are taught apply to more than the "stingy" vocabulary but it allows you to grow it for your own interests.
