Hola Karen!
Me llamo Jennie. Yo nunca estudié español hasta compré Fluenz. My name is Jennie, and I never studied Spanish until I bought Fluenz. Lo compré para preparar un viaje a España en enero con mis padres, mi hermano, mi cuñada, y mi sobrino. I bought it to prepare for a trip to Spain in January with my parents, my brother, my sis-in-law, and my nephew! Ahora lo uso para hablar con personas en mi trabajo (en un hospital). Now, I use it to talk to people at my work (in a hospital). I am now close to finishing level 5. So welcome to the forums! Some of the Fluenz people float around answering questions, and there seem to be other more advanced speakers around to help also. Buena suerte in your voyage!

¡Hola, Jennie! Gracias por su respuesta. Entiendo en todo sus frases. Me gusta su mensaje. Ayer (I completed) mi repaso de Fluenz Spanish 1. Cuando (was) su viaje a España? En 2011? ¡Que bueno!
I don't know how to make accents/reverse?s/etc in this browser (Chrome). I am remembering bits and pieces of the Spanish I've learned along the way, but *everything* I've learned in Fluenz. I'm excited to be moving into Level 2. I've done part of Session 1 and am blown away and happy that the Fluenz team has chosen to introduce the past (preterite) tense so early in the learning process. It's a great idea -- so natural and reality-based. So much of our everyday conversation is in the past tense.
Anyway, gracias, Jennie! Vamos a conversar! Todos -- juntos! Join in, anyone. :-)
