Questo e quello
In Italian 1 we were introduced to questo and quello in a basic way and then in Italian 3 we have (so far - I'm on lesson 10) learned there are many more forms of quello (all of them being quell', quel, quello, quegli, quei, quella and quelle?). I presume there is a similar expansion of questo but we haven't seen it yet. But I'm confused. I think there must be a *noun* form of these words and adjectival form. Does that change how you use them? In particular, I'm confused about quello which I thought had been used for all singular masculine conditions but in Italian 3 it seems to only be used with plural singular words beginning with "z" or "s+consonant". Can someone help?
