I'm not sure if this applies to Italian or not, but the way i understand it in Spanish it doesn't matter if you have the pronoun or not, as the verb ending tells who is doing the action, you would use the pronoun to emphasize who was doing the action, this is how i understand it in Spanish, I'm not sure if its the same in Italian.

Generally, the subject pronoun is not used by Italians, the subject is included in the verb. The subject pronoun is used when it is needed for clarification - when it would be difficult to know who the subject is without it - or for emphasis.
