Message Board
Hi,
I just received Fluenz for Spanish and think it's great. I do find this "forum" hard to ambulate. I'd like to see a traditional message board linked into Fluenz Commons. It could have a board for each language you offer w/ boards for subcategories. Example: Under the Spanish board you could have: Grammar/Course Content Questions, Tech Issues, Culture and Travel (food, music, news, etc.), General Chat (a place just to chat w/ other Fluenz Spanish learner's). I like the flashards a lot. I think it would also be cool if you made a set that could be downloaded to the user's computer- maybe it wouldn't be as "flashy" (excuse the pun), but it would still be very cool. Your programmers are DEFINITELY smart enough to create a little flash card gig. Anyway, my husband is Cuban and I'm looking forward to speaking to him in his first language. Oh,one more thing, I can't be the ONLY person who would like to learn Spanish slang and profanity. Yes, I just said. Look, in English if I'm REALLY upset, I know how to do it. To really be fluent, in my opinion, one must be able to tell someone off really well in their language. : ) I'd NOT add tht into the regular Fluenz but have it as an "additional" add on. I'd also not have it taught by sweet, gentle Sonia. I'd have one of the guys teach that one : ). Thanks for a great product. I chose this over Rosetta Stone hands down. Dawn Moreno
