A few things:
1) our software doesn't require the correct punctuation, even with Challenge Mode on. So you could just skip those two if you'd like.
2) While 1 and ! use the same key, you need to hold down Shift to produce a !. So you would literally type 1, then hold down shift to type a !, and that should produce the ¡.
3) I'm not sure why the ¿ isn't working for you... maybe what I described above for ¡ helps? Alternatively, you can type those upside-down characters by holding down Alt when you type the respective punctuation marks (this is Mac only for future readers of this post!).
