I can't answer your question but I would just say "wǒ de shū hěn hǎo" or zhè ge shū hěn hǎo. If I come across the answer, I will repost.

if you translate an adjective from Eng to Chinese, the " 's ", i.e. "de的", is always included. it's like after the adj before the n., the "de" should always be added

It is used to connect nouns and adjectives a ton! So basically, it is adjective + de + noun
ex.
gui4 de shu1 - expensive book
kuai4 de ren2 - fast person
