I don't think an online version is such a good idea. It's not very mobile considering roaming costs, speed and coverage whilst traveling. There should be an outright App of its own thats independent of any Internet or wifi connections. I know that Fluenz designers came to a cross roads because of the lack of flash support on its IOS devices. I don't see why you can't design them to run on the current operating system. Adobe's flash is buggy and slow, Steve Jobs was never going to agree to running it on any IOS device and I would think his legacy would continue to influence apples current leaders decisions not to go there either. Your developers need to re-think a way of bringing fluenz languages to mobile devices without waiting for apple to agree to Flash as it may never happen. How to we access this online BETA version to trial by the way ?

You need apps. NEED. Okay? I get the posts above about the size and it's unrealistic... Yeah. No. It's not that hard. If you're that concerned about the size of the app, simply break the levels into multiple apps. This has the added benefit of allowing you to have a nice pricing structure. Buy Level 1 then 2 then 3 and so on. Each is its own app. Each has its own price. Or, buy app 1 and upgrade from there. Just be sure you explain all those things clearly.
As to typing, any tablet is sufficient. A phone may be a bit tricky but I don't think the point of typing is to learn to type the language as much as it is to learn to write it. So who cares what sort of input device is used?
Let's be honest, having to fire up the computer is inconvenient. And how many times have you laid in bed and played with your tablet or smart phone? Been standing in line? A waiting room? You NEED apps! And you can do it. If they can make flight simulators, you can make language apps.
Now, one last point, no one wants to be put in the position of buying the mobile app or the computer app. Easy. Though Apple only lets you download apps from the app store, so you can't bundle them with the downloaded or DVD version of the software, you can include a voucher code. Other suppliers already do this. Buy the software, get a free voucher code to download the app(s).
Again, I love you. Please do this. And if you don't think you should, check out your reviews some time. They're not pretty on that front.
