I am experiencing the same problem. I am only on Spanish 1 Lesson 3 and the program crashes after "Write the Phrase You Hear" because of an error with Adobe Projector. I have tried running in compatibility mode, adjusting the DEP, updating Adobe, and running from the disk, but haven't had any luck so far. It gave the same error at the same spot in Lesson 4 and 5. I have the most updated version of the program.

I've had the same issue. I'm updating all of my video drivers, we'll see how that works. I'm using Spanish 1, and the problem always seems to occur just before the workouts with the mic, right after the "Write the Phrase you hear section", as others have experienced.
Update: No help after updating drivers.

I also had the same problem and found an answer. The problem is with Adobe Projector. The software by Adobe is not designed to work with Windows 7. I, like both of you, could not figure out why one day it worked and the next it didn't even after I reinstalled my Adobe software from the website over and over. The only solution at this time is to insert the CD into your computer and when you run the setup, you have to choose "run from disk" instead of running it off the downloaded copy to your computer. If you use this method you will not see the error message come up. They say its better to install the software, but it works just fine running from the CD. Let me know how you make out, but I don't think you'll have any more problems...Jason

Jason, I am overseas right now (Denmark), but I will try this as soon as I get home. I hope it works for me as I have found Fluenz to be a great learning tool. I am conversing and writing e-mails in basic Spanish to a Spanish speaking colleague and she understands me well. If I had Fluenz in HS I might be speaking fluently by now. Thanks for your help. The PC is new and very fast so running from the CD should work fine.

I am having the same problem. I'm running Windows Vista. About two thirds of the way through the lesson, I get an Adobe Projector error and the lesson shuts down. If I try to reload the program it will shut down at that exact spot every time. This has happened two lessons in a row. I've been forced to move on to the next lesson because I cannot get it to work.

Has a fix for this problem been found? I've been having the same problem reappearing throughout my 3 levels of French, usually when Basic Conversation section is starting. Once or twice an update of Fluenz seemed to help, but most of the time I just skipped the rest of the lesson and moved on, but it is starting to be annoying. I finally find a chunk of time for my French, start a lesson, and then find myself spending all the time I have updating, rebooting, googling, and so on. The problem is obviously quite old, is there no fix for it??? I'm on Win7 32-bit, all patched and up to date.
