Dear Cesar, thanks for writing in. I just went through the whole 1st session of Fluenz Mandarin 3 but I couldn't find any mistakes or mistranslations. Do you happen to recall any? Again, I went through Yi's conversation, but she included all sentences and all words of the prior conversation. Also, I went to the last session of Mandarin 1+2 where it says: "I want to use the bathroom" (Wǒ yào yòng xǐshǒujiān) and it really says bathroom and not cellphone. The mistake may come because cellphone is "shǒujī " (Shǒu, which means "Hand" is 3rd tone and Jī is 1st tone, which means "Device) , but in the word "xǐshǒujiān" (Bathroom) you find "shǒuji", but this doesn't mean "cellphone", because this "ji" is neutral tone, not 1st tone, and it's actually part of just one word "jiān", Room. I'll break down the whole word for you: "xǐ" means To Wash, "shǒu" Hand, so "xǐshǒu" means To Wash Hands, and "jiān" is Room. So " xǐshǒujiān" is the Room where you Wash your Hands = Bathroom. I'm sorry about the confusion this may have caused to you. Please let me know if you have any further comments or doubts. Cheers!

Thank you Leo, i just found the problem is not that was mistranslation more than a confusion when on 1+2 we have to find the word yi is saying in 3 we have to find the address but it was not explained. thank you. but in 1+2 at the end of the session there is a little mistake when is asking to use the restroom but instead is spelling a cellphone.
just a note as a student, in the one we have to hear the conversation and match , there are words that was not taught but the dictionary also dont have them. so just a note it should be there on 1+2. i just started 3 so i can not say the same about 3.

Dear Cesar, do you happen to remember in which session of 1+2 does the restroom/cellphone switching occurs? I was looking through the very last one (#45) but couldn't find it except for the case referred to on the first comment I did. I'm going to double check on the vocabulary of level 3, as we're supposed to include only words you've studied either in previous or current sessions, but not new ones. Again, thanks for your help and sorry for these inconveniences.

Dear Cesar, I am unable to find these missing parts but I've sent you an email for you to access the online version which doesn't have any of these missing parts. I'm really sorry if you're finding any inconsistencies on your DVD-roms. Please let us know if you need any help.

Hi Leo. I am just curious to know how many languages you speak fluently. Are all the FLUENZ team members polyglots? Impressive anyway:)))

I also have the "missing conversation" problem. It skips about half of the dialogue.

I would recommend installing the latest updates that can be found here over on the left

Hi jcasares,
Could you please tell me what part of the dialogue it is skipping?
Cheers,
Andy

Hi there,
I think I know what is going on. When you use the arrow keys to move forward, it skips dialogue (usually one person). When you click on next, it works fine. So there is a workaround, but it is inconvenient and took me a long time to discover.
