Hi Michael! I'm sorry if that's confusing. What happens is that on level 1 (which includes DVD 1 and Audio CD 1), "You" is always the "Formal You". So the verb "Querer" needs to be "Quiere"
If the pronoun was included, it would be "Usted quiere" (i.e. ¿Dónde quiere comer usted?, ¿Qué plato quiere comer usted?)
On level 2 we'll introduce the "Informal You", that is "Tú". So in that case you use "Quieres" (i.e. ¿Dónde quieres comer tú? ¿Qué plato quieres comer tú?)
Usually the pronoun is excluded so that's why it's not showing. And in both cases, the pronoun usually goes at the end or at the beginning of the sentence, if you wish to mention it. Hope this helps! And keep up the good work! Feliz tarde : ).
