For the first issue, it would seem that you are correct.
For the second, one of the "rules" that I recall is that if the things referred to are "countable" then molto must agree. In this case since there are a countable number of airlines, it would be molte. I'm not sure how grammatical that "rule" is.
For the third one, I would agree with you.
I also have difficulty sometimes hearing the exact words that are used. In this case the sounds of the V and P could be hard to differentiate at a normal rate of speech.
