My French success story
Hi guys …
French is actually going to be my fourth language along with Persian, Arabic and
off course English.I thought my experience in "starting french" could be helpful.
Starting about 2 month ago with Pimsleur French, I found it quite helpful but only
for level one. I learned a lot from it for just half to one hour a day.
However as I started the Second Level things started to change. the lessons were
too difficult and expects you to know things that have not been taught yet! therefore
the process of learning changed from a fun play to a daunting experience. Beside,
they don't teach you how to read and write.
Nevertheless I think it was an essential start. As I started learning with Fluenze everything
started to make sense! "oh so this is how it works!" I found every thing I learned in
Pimsleur method helping me in Fluenze. Acutully they complement each other.
So now after 2 month into French , I think I can survive in France although I'm not
planing to go there … I'm leaning French for fun and as something to add to my CV! I'm
applying for a Pilot job :)
By the way, I got Fluenze French one from a friend. I have just the DVD and not the
Audio CD. Guys do you think it's crucial? I'm not sure if it's the right thing and place to
ask this: Could anybody help me get the audio CD content in someway?
Thanks for reading my post
Au revoir
