In Spanish I, Lesson 14, vamos a is used both as let's go to and we are going to. It is sometimes difficult for me to decide which is meant when I am reading the sentences; but I guess with more practice and considering the context of the sentence, it will become more apparent.

I have heard there are some subtle differences between using vamos and vamonos but not really sure about what they are. Maybe by adding the word verdad it would be clear that tomorrow, we are going to the park.

That means we're going to go to the park, not let's go to the park

I think there is an alternative for "let's go" which is "vaminos" but I am not sure if it is covered in Fluenz. I think it is usually used just alone, when you just want to say "Let's go!"

If you are using it as an imperative it would be 'vamonos al parque" ("Let's go to the park tomorrow"
