I've been supplementing my Fluenz lessons with reading books and materials online in German, and I've come across a strange word that seems to change meaning depending on context, abbreviated bzw. I looked it up and apparently it means beziehungsweise. Between my books, other forums, google translate and so on, not sure I grasp when to use it. Sometimes it means "with respect to," sometimes "or rather," sometimes it's simply "or." Why not just use "oder" when it would just mean "or?" Does anyone have some good examples of when to use it?
