Hello Chapley, Congrats on your big move, that is great news. Quite an adventure for sure and we can't wait to hear about it. As for Fluenz creating a Swiss German program, we don't have any future plans at the moment to do so. With a country like Switzerland that has such a variety of languages and dialects within each language you almost need to learn the basic language first (Standard German, French etc) and then immerse yourself to learn the dialect. Hopefully you will have a solid foundation of the German after using the Fluenz and once you are there you can pick it up well. Good luck and keep us posted! Cheers, Andy

I would think it would be far too expensive for Fluenz to spend the resources necessary to develope such a highly selective language. Because of the German taught thru Fluenz, that is all thats necessary to get around Swizerland. Could you imagine all the time and hardwork that would go in to develop
Swiss-German program and then perhaps, get just a few people to inquire let alone purchasing the program.

Paul hits on a point, namely that Fluenz is a business. They seem to be a good business (ie, not evil, care about producing a quality product people will use to better themself, etc) - but that doesn't mean they will develop a product they don't think they can make money on. I personally think there is money to be made in advanced lessons beyond level 5 for the languages they currently have.
