That's a good idea. In the section where you have to read the sentence in Italian and match it to the English translation, I'm instead reading the sentence in English and then translating it in Italian first and then checking to see if I had the same translation as the phrase on the left.

Kristin, great tip! It's the way I've done the third of the three read-throughs of the conversations it I, II, and III. The first with the English, the second without, and the third audio only.

Hi Jim! I think I know what you are talking about. I usually do the first two "listens" with italian subtitles (I like to try to figure out the new words myself) and then the third time without subtitles. I find that I depend too much on what I see, which won't help me unless everyone I meet is willing to transcribe what they say. :-)
