That is great to hear! I too was nervous trying to speak German when I was studying German last year. Since I came home in July, I have been using Fluenz to perfect my German. I am going back to Berlin in early May for 6 months to study at another school which I'm looking forward to! Fluenz has been a great experience for me thus far. I have complete almost the first 2 level and will finish up with Level 3 before I leave. I am also taking a German class at the local university this month which will be more like a review but will help nevertheless. All that being said, I hope that my conversational skills will be much better when I return and study in Berlin. I'm glad you had a great experience in Stuttgart!

Thanks! It sounds like you are going full speed ahead. I am almost done with the first disk, but I am hoping to get to the end of disk three before April and then keep it up with the flashcards. I am meeting with my old director in April, so I want to be able to speak to him in German (hence the fast approaching deadline). I am trying to get an expat position in Germany so I've been trying to learn as fast as I can.
Where did you study? Now that you are almost done with the second disk would you feel more comfortable do you think?
My partner did a stint in Germany for six months, she references it as one of the best decisions she has ever made. It is also why we are trying to get out there.
