This is a general issue I have with Fluenz, but it may vary depending on how one finds it easier to learn. For me, I would prefer to be taught more literal translations into English, while knowing that it is not the way we would commonly say it. Fluenz on the other hand translates the Spanish (or French for that matter) into the best or most common English. An example is "me gusta" meaning "I like (it)". To me, it would be easier to learn it as "It appeals to me" knowing that this is how the Spanish indicate that they like something. French: for "J'ai besoin de" Fluenz says "I need" when in fact it is "I have need of". Your example with '"ropa" is a similar case. There are many others.
