I've encountered those situations a few times throughout my Fluenz experience. I'll have a lesson that seems overwhelming, I think "Man that's too much, how will I ever get that?". In some cases if the topic is shown on the screen during a tutorial, I'll take a screen shot of it so I can refer to it later. If the lesson was particularly challenging, I'll simply go through it again, though I may skip some sections that I didn't have problems with. Then I do the flashcards to reinforce the concept.
I will tell you, though, that about five sessions later, I have a better grasp of it and think, "Now was that so hard?" I'm just telling you that so you don't feel too frustrated. Learning seems to come in spurts sometimes. If this particular topic is challenging for you, write out your chart combining the "Da" and the articles. Then do it for "Di" and the articles, and so on. You'll get it!

Whenever I am feeling overwhelmed, I make my own practice sheets before moving on. Made one for are/ere/ire verbs, reflexives, past tenses, "this, that, those, these", etc etc. Buona Fortuna!
