Curious if you used any other Spanish learning media like pimsleur, assimil or RS.

I can not agree more, I am on Level 4 and can communicate easily with basic sentences structure. I have added many vocabulary from different websites and tools. However, Fluenz has a unique method that retain the words and structure in my brain.
I hope they develop two more levels for more tenses as I am not sure if they will Produce the Power of the word Haber. it has a lot of uses and tenses. Many vocabulary in daily discussion. It would be so great that if Fluenz would announce or reply or send us a notifications on optional two more levels to whom is interested.
looking forward to seeing this news.
cheers

I agree. I bought spanish latin am levels 1-5. I am near the end of level 2 now. I like this but wish there were something to supplement like grammar and vocab as discussed.
In a related issue...are there any specific book(s) or websites out there that might complement spanish 1-5? Or to have the fluenz material in a format that could be printed out as reference. I am finding myself taking notes and essentially reinventing the wheel. I realize there is a dictionary for each level, but I would love to have that in a format i can use.
thanks tom

there is a lot educational material on the web. From what I have seen, much of it is for Spain Spanish, not LA, so you hear the "th" for "s" a lot and the other differences. But iit is still useful. I did come across News in Slow Spanish (Latin America) which apparently has just started but this is more suited for intermediate users and above. Check out iTunes for Spanish podcasts and/or google Spanish podcasts and go to Amazon and search for Spanish textbooks or just Google that. There is a TV show "Extra@" you can see on Youtube; story involves an American visiting Spain who learns the language. There is a ton of stuff out there
