Hi Mary, I will try my best to answer ( to what i believe is right) your question. So in the first question your answer is wrong because you have a direct object noun after the verb and it should be positioned after T,M,P and before the last infinitive or past part. In the 2nd question geschenk is the indirect object noun which goes before all indications of T,M,P. In the 3rd question again the direct object noun comes after all indications of T,M,P. The normal word order is SUBJECT+VERB+DIRECT OBJECT PRONOUN+INDIRECT OBJECT NOUN+TIME+MANNER+PLACE+DIRECT OBJECT NOUN+INFINITIVE/PAST PART. Also just to trick you german has the flexibility to put emphasis on any of the T,M,P but whatever you use the other two indications still follow the rule. zum biespiel Sonntags bin ich oft ins schwimmbad in der einsteinstrasse gegangen oder ins schwimmbad in der einsteinstrasse bin ich Sonntags oft gegangen. I hope this helps. Please comment if I have made a mistake as i am not quite there yet with german grammar but i am working on it.
