actually my dictionaries and understanding (which can easily be flawed) has dritto as straight as in direction and diritto as in straight law abiding, etc.

Hi Ed - Actually "dritto" is not wrong. Both "dritto" and "diritto" mean "straight". We chose to teach "dritto" because it's what is used most when giving directions, and because "diritto" has other meanings ("law" and "right" are some the main ones).

Okay, I guess I can accept that. After re-reading my dictionaries I guess I missed the first instance under diritto which indicates that diritto = dritto as an adjective. You can close this one, and file it under "stupid student".
