While the installer may seem like it is frozen, most likely it's proceeding fine. I know the installer window may become unresponsive, but just sit tight. Each Fluenz program contains many hours of instructional video and thousands of audio files. For this reason, a single level can take up over 4GB of hard drive space. This means that installation will take a while -- like 20 minutes or more depending on your computer & DVD drive.
If you wish to verify that everything is installing ok however, you can do so by first starting the installer and when you think it's frozen, follow these steps:
WINDOWS
1) Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)" -- if you only have a "C:\Program Files" folder (i.e. one that doesn't end in "x86"), open that one instead.
2) Right-click the folder named "Fluenz" and select "Properties" from the menu that appears.
3) In the new window that opens, you should see the number next to the word "Size". Take note of this number and close the window.
4) Wait a minute and then repeat step 2. You should see that the number next to "Size" has increased. This means that the files are in the process of being successfully installed.
