Not sure, but I think they do that on purpose to get us to "think" Italian or something. Starting at Level 3 I noticed a lot of grammatically incorrect English and then Sophie says once within the first few lectures something about writing the English weird to get us to think in Italian.

Hi Robert,
Well, I'm sure that by now you have come across a few of these strange translations, right? As Laura suggested it was indeed to point you in the right direction of the Italian sentence. We know that we sometimes do this to the detriment of the English language but our focus is on training you to understand how Italian works and for this we will happily forsake the English language (you know that already anyway). The aim here is for you to realise through the awkwardly constructed English sentence that in Italian it's "A Isabella". And if you questioned it you probably learned it more than if you hadn't.
