I'm glad I could help! One language partner I've met has genuinely become a good friend that I talk to almost everyday! Adesso, ho qualcuno da visitare a Napoli! Bennisimo!

It continues to be a great help. QUESTION: One of my language partners is asking for a movie in English that has simple language….so many to choose from. Anyone have an opinion? Maybe a children's movie?

The Princess Bride surely, no? 'Fezzik, are there rocks ahead? If there are, we’ll all be dead. No more rhymes now, I mean it. Anybody want a peanut?' :D

I think a good children's movie like a Pixar flick would be the best bet because they always speak clearly and the dialogue isn't heavy handed. Something like Frozen, maybe? That's a very tough question...

Princess Bride….too funny!! I should watch it again, one of my favorites.
Tristan, I agree…a movie like that could be good, assuming there are not a lot of overdone character voices. Simple dialogue is good, but for me it also has to be slooooow…..maybe I can come up with a boring movie. ;-)
It is very interesting to learn about your own language from someone else's perspective. This person is also struggling with the word "get". He asked what it means….we are still talking about it 2 weeks later. I never realized how much we use this word and for so many different contexts!!!

My language partner asks me the most random things and with urgency at random times of the day. Example: "Tristan! What is 'Walk-In Welcome' mean?? Please, help!" hahaha It's hilarious.
