I agree that they are difficult. It's easy for me to remember reflexive verbs by thinking about the things I do when I'm going out. I bathe myself, dry myself, shave myself, comb myself, dress myself, and so forth. Sometimes the Spanish reflexive is equivalent to the English word 'get'. Possessive adjectives are not used after reflexive verbs. I form them by, for instance, removing the 'arse' from each infinitive (i.e. take 'arse' away from 'bañarse' or casarse, levantarse, peinarse, afeitarse, lavarse, quitarse etc. -- actually, the verb for 'to stay' is 'quedarse' not 'quedar') and adding the reflexive pronoun. Is this clear?
