I've wondered the same thing about Forse and Magari, and do see a subtle difference between the two. I'm not sure one would be considered wrong, I just go with what I would say in English (perhaps versus maybe).
As for ci vediamo, it does loosely mean "see you", but I think translates more exactly to "we'll see each other", hence the need for "Ci" and the noi form of vedere (vediamo), At least that is my way of making sense of it!

This isn't easy to explain. It's good to know them both, but there is a difference in nuance between the two. If you are not a native speaker, it's best to use forse. Forse is more to explain the probability of something and magari is used to explain the desire of something. More or less like the difference between "maybe" and "perhaps"in English.
