@RGSGInc - Congrats on finishing Fluenz German! We're happy to hear you enjoyed the program.
As for the French program, Sonia teaches levels 1+2 and Caroline who is a native French speaker teaches levels 3-5. While Sonia does do the tutorial lessons in the program, all of the audios that you hear in the workouts are from native speakers.
To answer your question about the accents/special characters, it sounds like you are doing the accents by pressing the keys simultaneously. You actually need to hit the keys one at a time. So for example to make the à key, you will first press the ; key and let go, then press the a to get the accents.
