Hallo Odessa
You are absolutely right that the English sentence should say:
They listened to music and danced a lot and went home late
We have corrected this and it will be available in the next update. Vielen Dank for letting us know about this!

I think the answer may still be incorrect. The english states "They listened to music" and "danced a lot". So shouldn't "viel" be paired with "getanzt"?, i.e.
Sie haben Musik gehört und viel getanzt und sind spät nach Hause gegangen.
Sie haben Musik gehört und viel getanzt und sind spät nach Hause gegangen.

I would also like to point out the answer for the next phrase "We listened to music and danced a lot and went home at five am" has the same issue, i.e. "viel Music gehört". However this phrase appears to accept both "viel Musik gehört" and "und viel getanzt".
