In general the translation for "for" is "für". So we have:
for me = für mich
for tomorrow = für morgen
for 2 people = für 2 Personen
forever = für immer
etc
But there are some (actually not very many) specific expressions such as "to wait for" which we introduce in level 2 where the preposition changes. Here it's "warten auf". It might be a good idea to keep a list of these expressions so you can review them and practise them as exceptions. Maybe that will help you remembering them? If you would like to review "warten auf" it's in level 2 session 18.
