confused
Hi everyone. After a year with fluenz, this is my first post. I am on disk five and can't seem to figure out when to use gustaria vs. quisiera. I looked it up on line and understood the difference to be, that gustaria is "(I, he , she, you ect) would like to do something. where as quisiera is used to say (I, you, he , she ect) would like to have something. But, then I was reviewing flashcards from disk 4 and came across one that said, "(I)'d like to visit that city. with the Spanish translation being....quisiera visitar esa ciudad. So, now I'm at square one and still confused. Does anyone have a helpful hint as to how to tell the difference. Thank you!
