I just passed the DELF A1 exam, which the French equivalent of the DELE. I have officially gone through completely the first three levels of Fluenz French, levels 4 and 5 I have worked on specific lessons. I am also taking classes at Aliance Française. The thing I would recommend is taking a look at what kind of language structures are required at the first two levels of the Spanish exams. If you feel confident that you know all that you need to know for the level 2 exam, if not go for the level 1. I think that Fluenz is a great resource as preparation for those exams. However at the same time it's not focused as exam preparation, and it's never advertised itself as that. Which all comes down to, Fluenz teaches you the things they feel are important to use the language without being constrained as an exam prep tool. Best of luck to you, it's a great feeling to pass those exams :)

I would suggest A1 level if you have only used Fluenz and no other resources, and maybe A2 if you have supplemented your Fluenz studies with some more basic resources. As happy as I am with Fluenz, not a whole lot of content is covered in the five levels, but you do learn the most practical phrases and sentence constructions.

Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to respond. I will supplement my Fluenz studies with a few other resources to at least get through A2.

What other resources would you suggest? I just completed level 5 and don't want to stop now! I really liked this structure and combination of teaching methods, but I also am short of where I would like to be. I did duolingo first and i really enjoyed it, but again, not enough.
