There isn't any voice recognition or part of the Fluenz program to test the accuracy of the pronunciation. The software does exist, but it isn't very accurate. In some cases, you would be understood in real life whereas the software will mark you as incorrect due to variables such as voice inflection, accent, etc.

What is the best route to take to check on pronunciation then? I don't trust my ears!

One thing I have found helpful is dictating in your new language on an iPhone or iPad. You have to add the keyboard in settings (Spanish in your case) and then select it before dictating. If you don't have an iPhone or iPad, perhaps the phone you do have can accomplish this. Your accent does not have to be perfect, because the software does use context to a certain extent. But you obviously have to be close enough!
Another option is to try Duo Lingo, which is free on the web and via app. It does have pronunciation items. I wasn't thrilled with it, because it often cut me off before I even finished talking, but it is free and available for you to try.
